Glenn Beck Thursday unveiled Insider Extreme, the next generation of his highly successful online subscription service for GlennBeck.com.
Insider Extreme will bring people behind-the-scenes of Glenn's world, providing subscribers with exclusive content and an entirely new way to experience "The Glenn Beck Program," America's third-highest rated radio show.
Insider Extreme features GlennBeck.TV — a live, six-camera broadcast quality simulcast of "The Glenn Beck Program"; a brand new fourth hour of the program starring Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere; and exclusive mini documentaries created and produced by Beck and his team on a wide range of important topics.
The first documentary, "Doomed to Repeat?", will debut March 24, exploring the parallels between the Great Depression and today's economic crisis.
Clips of what to expect from GlennBeck.TV and Insider Extreme documentaries are available at www.GlennBeck.com.
"Since launching GlennBeck.com over 12 years ago, we have tried to stay ahead of the curve by offering Insiders some of the most innovative, entertaining and accessible features online," Beck said. "Insider Extreme will revolutionize the medium and give people a never-before-seen exclusive peek into my world. Scary, I know."
Insider Extreme subscribers also will receive streaming video of the launch event featuring Beck speaking live at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square on March 16. Tickets to attend the event in person are available at www.GlennBeck.com and www.Ticketmaster.com.
Subscriptions to Insider Extreme, for as low as $6.25 a month, go on sale March 9 at www.GlennBeck.com; the service kicks off the same day.
"Glenn Beck Program" contributors Stu Burguiere and Pat Gray will host "The 4th Hour" from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time each day. "The 4th Hour" will include many of the topics that Beck had intended to discuss during his show but didn't get to cover.
The hour also will take viewer calls and will expose the behind the scenes debate that goes into creating America's third highest rated radio show.
In anticipation of The 4th Hour, Stu Burguiere said: "Both Pat and I have spent over a decade working with Glenn and cataloguing embarrassing stories about him. Now, we finally have a place to tell them."
Additional Insider Extreme benefits are online access to Beck's magazine "Fusion" and the following features available to Insiders:
- Live streaming audio of "The Glenn Beck Program"
- 60-day archive of "The Glenn Beck Program"
- Insider Message Board, which is home to some of the most intense and honest online conservative discussions
- Webcam of "The Glenn Beck Program"
- Audio podcasts of "The Glenn Beck Program"
- Ticket pre-sales to Glenn Beck events across the country.
In addition, existing affiliates of Beck's radio show will be offered an embedded video player that will provide daily content for their web sites.
Although Glenn Beck entered the media world as a DJ at the tender age of 13, everything changed when he found a new vision of his career: talk radio. In 2002, he launched "The Glenn Beck Program" on just 47 stations with the mission to make listeners "feel goodness from my show and accept me for who I am, flaws and all." Nothing has been the same since.
Today, his radio show can be heard across the country on almost 400 stations, his television show sets ratings records, his books reach the top of bestseller lists, and he travels across the country performing his live stage show to sold-out audiences.
