WashPost to Host Trump at Correspondents Gala

Among the glitterati attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Saturday will be Donald Trump. The real estate mogul and potential GOP presidential candidate will be a guest of The Washington Post and share a table with House Speaker John Boehner.

Donald Trump, Washington Post“He’s a fascinating figure in Washington right now,” says Post spokeswoman Kris Coratti.

Also at the event, which has been staged in Washington since 1920, will be Tom Hooper, winner of this year’s Best Director Oscar for “The King’s Speech,” actresses Bridget Moynahan and Mira Sorvino, actors Wendell Pierce and David Arquette, and Washington Wizards star John Wall, The Washington Post reported.

The dinner usually includes a comedic turn by the president, who often attends along with the vice president.
