Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has taken a lot of heat for his Medicare reform plan in the budget approved by the House. But he says that he is open to the idea of keeping a traditional fee-for-service option for senior citizens as part of his plan, The Hill reports.

It’s possible that Republicans and Democrats could agree to an option-based reform plan as a compromise to keep Medicare solvent.
