Sharron Angle Attacks Obama in New Ad

A new television ad from Republican Sharron Angle’s campaign takes aim at Barack Obama as the president travels to Nevada to stump for her opponent Harry Reid on Friday. Angle’s campaign Reid, Angle, Elections 2010, Nevadatouts the spot as the “First Ad of 2012,” Politico reports.

An onscreen text reads: “In 2008, we were promised change we could believe in . . . Then Harry Reid and the president got to work.”

Statistics including Nevada’s worst-in-the-nation 14 percent unemployment rate are shown against a backdrop of photos of Obama and Senate Majority Leader Reid embracing.
