Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry has a new web video out titled “What to Do on a Day Off.” It starts with a little shooting. “I don’t play golf. This is my golf. I come out to LaRue Tactical,” Perry says in the video. He’s referring to shooting sniper rifles at LaRue Tactical, a Texas weapons maker, and the video shows him aiming and firing.

The Texas governor says he’s never achieved a “hole-in-one” at LaRue. That would require shooting five bullets through the same target hole, but he’s come close.

“It’s really relaxing — to get to come hang out with a bunch of what I consider to be patriots,” Perry says at the LaRue facility.

And what else does Perry like to do? “When I’m not out at LaRue Tactical, . . . you’ll probably find me at the running trail,” Perry says. “On the hills out in West Travis County, if you see a lone runner out there, there’s a good chance it might be me.”
