Ever since the 2008 presidential campaign ended, speculation has run rampant that ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012. And in an interview for next Sunday’s New York Times Magazine, the popular conservative acknowledges that she may throw her hat in the ring, Poltico reports
Asked if she’s considering a run, Palin replied, “I am. I’m engaged in the internal deliberations candidly, and having that discussion with my family, because my family is the most important consideration here.”
The Times story states: “Palin went on to say that there weren’t meaningful differences in policy among the field of GOP hopefuls ‘but that in fact there’s more to the presidency than that’ and that her decision would involve evaluating whether she could bring unique qualities to the table. ‘Yes, the organization would have to change,’ Palin said. ‘I’d have to bring in more people — more people who are trustworthy.’”
