Any occurrence in life generally leads some American to try coming up with a way to monetize it. And such is the case with Tommy Graham of Santa Barbara, Calif. He bought the NewtRomney.com site in November, hoping either Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich would win the Republican presidential nomination and that whoever didn’t would support the other or even end up as the vice presidential candidate, The Hill reports.

"As we get closer and closer to the primary, I'm feeling quite confident that these two candidates are going to be the last men standing, and very likely will need each other’s support once a winner is declared," Graham told the news service.

The name of his site has gained currency in recent days as GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has taken to calling the two front-runners "Newt Romney," because she sees little difference between the two and between the duo and President Barack Obama.

"It is very clear that there's not a dime's worth of difference between the two of them [Romney and Gingrich] because both of them have advocated for the healthcare mandate," Bachmann said on CBS's "Face the Nation" Sunday.

Graham hopes to sell his site for big bucks if Romney and Gingrich indeed work together to defeat Obama. He says he’d be happy to unload the domain to Bachmann.

"I'm a gambling man ... unlike Perry," he said, alluding to Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s refusal of an offer from Romney at Saturday’s debate to bet $10,000. "So deviating from my original bet before Newt announces his vice president seems a bit premature, but maybe Bachmann really wants this name. ... That's gotta be worth something."

Graham said he also purchased the domain names NEWTnROMNEY.com, NEWTandROMNEY.com, and NEWTnMITT.com.
