The Newsmax ION Television Debate will be held at the Hoyt Sherman Theater in Des Moines, Iowa, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. ET – and will be the last forum of major Republican presidential candidates a week before the Jan. 3, 2012 Iowa caucus.

The Newsmax ION Television Debate will be televised live nationwide on ION Television to 99 million U.S. homes.

ION Television boasts the largest number of network-owned broadcast stations in the nation and ranks among the top ten cable TV networks. ION is also carried by satellite providers DirectTV and DISH.

Newsmax reaches more than 10 million readers each month via Newsmax.com, email news alerts, and its print monthly Newsmax magazine.

“Considering the reach of ION and Newsmax, we expect this debate with Mr. Trump will have the largest audience of any Republican primary debate to date,” Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy said.

Ruddy added that the debate will be a serious forum involving reputable journalists where Mr. Trump will lead an important conversation about the future of the country.
