Less than two weeks after President Barack Obama took office, he said that if he didn’t turn the economy around by the 2012 election, he
didn’t deserve a second term. Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney is trying to hold him to that, The Hill
"I've got four years," Obama told NBC in February 2009. "A year from now I think people are going to see that we're starting to make some progress, but there's still going to be some pain out there. If I don't have this done in three years, then there's going to be a one-term proposition."
The former Massachusetts governor’s campaign was more than happy to include that clip in a new video, "He's Right," sent to supporters Thursday.
