Cheney: Interrogation Techniques Justifiable

Former Vice President Dick Cheney says he gives President Barack Obama credit for the operation that killed Osama bin Laden, but he Dick Cheney, Osama Bin Laden, Interrogationalso believes that interrogation techniques that have been “taken off the table” should be renewed. Cheney also said on "Fox News Sunday" that Obama’s Libya strategy is confusing.

“I think you’ve got to give him a lot of credit for making the decision to have SEAL team six conduct the raid that got bin Laden," Cheney said. “There's no question that was his responsibility, and I think he handed it well. I give him high marks for making that decision."

Cheney said he remains concerned that the Obama administration has stopped using some of the enhanced interrogation techniques first instituted under the Bush administration, Politico reports.
