They’re taking the gloves off in the California Senate race. A new ad by Republican California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina portrays Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer as not exactly a shining example of a public servant,
Politico reports.

Boxer, Fiorina, new-ad, California, SenateThe ad begins with a clip of an Environment and Public Works Committee hearing in which Boxer told a general: “You know, do me a favor, could you say ‘senator’ instead of ma’am? … I worked so hard to get that title.”

Then Fiorina enters the ad saying, “Twenty-eight years in Washington and Barbara Boxer works hard for a title?” she asks. “I’ll really go to work -- to end the arrogance in Washington.”
