Photographs of Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan working out have spawned Twitter accounts for his biceps and sparked jokes throughout social media, ABC News reported.

The photos published by Time magazine show a grinning Ryan curling dumbbells while listening to headphones and sporting a red ballcap. Ryan is a known workout buff. They were taken a year ago when he was being considered for the Time Person of the Year issue, according to ABC News.

Soon after the photos hit the Internet, a Twitter account called @PaulRyansBicep was created.

“Schedule for tonight: 8pm Workout. 9pm Debate. 11pm Workout,” one tweet reads.

ABC News reported that a fake OkCupid dating profile was also created, in which Ryan’s body type is listed as “jacked” and his self-summary reads, “I’m lookin’ for a nice bunch of women to give up everything they stand for an vote for me. And those guns? Yeah — I built that ;)”

A Ryan aide told CNN that the publication of the photos was "poor judgment.”

In response to the photos, Ryan spokesman Michael Steel said, "Paul Ryan takes his health seriously. Clearly - judging by these silly pictures - he doesn't take himself too seriously."
