President Barack Obama charged that GOP challenger Mitt Romney would return America to the “wrong and reckless polices” of the George W. Bush White House if he were elected president.

“We have to start rebuilding America,” Obama said.

Doing this entails bringing more manufacturing jobs to the nation — he cited the administration’s “saving” of the Detroit automobile industry — as well as improving the education system and relying on its own energy.

Obama also said that “you have to reduce the debt” and that “if you ask the wealthy to do more to make it easier on the middle class” that was good, too.
He, again, said that Romney’s plan to cut taxes for those making more than $250,000 a year harken back to the Bush-era tax cuts, which are set to expire.
