WASHINGTON, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Fox News projected that President Barack Obama won the swing state of Michigan in Tuesday's presidential election.

Michigan's 16 electoral votes were a important swing state for Obama, who has campaigned heavily on his bailout of the U.S. automobile industry, which is headquartered in the Midwestern state. (Reporting By Mark Felsenthal)
