Pete Hoekstra represented Michigan's second congressional district from 1993 to 2011. He was chairman of the House Intelligence Committee from 2004-2007 and was the ranking Republican on the committee from 2007 to 2011.

In an exclusive LIGNET interview, Peter Hoekstra, former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, says the Boston Marathon bombers represent a threat that has been growing in the West since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and that a foreign country could very well have had a hand in planning the attacks.
