Tom Hanks, voice of the famous Disney Pixar character, Woody, revealed that a fourth Toy Story movie is in progress.
As if to corroborate this tip, Tim Allen has signed on for a fourth installment of the popular movie. Last year, the films’ director Lee Unkrich said that they would make efforts to keep the characters alive.
But, movie goers may find that a fourth installment of the series is one sequel too far. The recently released Toy Story 3’s ending seemed to give final closure for viewers who have been following the series since 1995.
The announcement of a possible fourth film comes on the heels of Pixar’s release of Cars 2. Cars 2 grossed approximately $40 million less than Toy Story 3 in its first weekend, according to Box Office Mojo.
