Celebrities and the uber-rich flocks to the slopes of Aspen for ski holidays. Aspen has the most luxurious and best ski resorts in America. It also offers many adventure sports to the tourists.
 
--The Heavenly Ski Resort is the highest ski resort in America. Located on South Lake Tahoe, this fabulous ski resort offers skiing both on the slopes of Nevada and California. The Heavenly resort, with the longest zip line in America, has high-speed gondolas and offers skiers 4,800 acres of skiable area, making it the largest ski resort in the country. The Heavenly Ski Resort also has a great ski school.
 
-- Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, was the official site for the 2002 Olympics for the Mogul, Slalom, and Aerial events. Located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains Wasatch Range, this great ski resort has world-famous hotels. The Deer Valley Resort consistently makes it to the top resorts in America and is one of the few resorts that prohibit snowboarding. The ski resort has earned prestigious ranking in the Ski Magazine too for years together.
 
--Vermont has seven interconnected mountains that provide skiers with an unbeatable range of skiing. It also has a great vertical drop and one of the longest terrain parks in North America. For terrain skiing, there is perhaps no better ski resort than in Vermont. The Stowe Resort Village, the Burke Mountain Ski Area, among others, draw tens of thousands of tourists during ski holidays. Many companies have opened luxury hotels and resorts on the mountain slopes to cater to skiers.
