Students will receive $5,000 per year, and if they continue teaching at a Connecticut public school, they will be eligible to get $2,500 a year. 3. Connecticut State Troopers Memorial Scholarship Fund:
One of the most popular Connecticut State Scholarships is offered by the Department of Public Safety. This program was established in 1962 as a mark of respect for the State Police of Connecticut, who laid down their lives while in service. The children of those belonging to the police force are awarded this scholarship to pursue their college education.
 
4. The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses:
Connecticut Nursing Scholarships are also one of the most sought-after scholarships. The American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) offers four scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in occupational and environmental health. Two $2,500 and two $3,000 scholarships are offered every year to undergraduate and graduate students respectively.
 
5. Connecticut Independent College Student Grant Program:
The Connecticut Independent College Student Grant Program is one of the Connecticut student scholarships that is awarded to Connencticut residents. The grant amount may be as high as $8,332 a year.
