Newsweek Cover Imagines Princess Diana at Royal Wedding

Wednesday, 29 Jun 2011 02:54 PM

This week’s cover of Newsweek shows a startling image. The late Princess Diana is photoshopped into a photo depicting her walking next to daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, reports CBS News.

Most surprising is how Princess Diana’s face and arms are technologically manipulated to project what she would have looked like at age 50.

Newsweek’s Tina Brown theorizes that Diana would have had Botox and very lean, toned arms from exercise.

Some are calling the cover “inspired,” while others are spooked by the reproduction of a deceased royal icon.
