Meningitis is a deadly infection that can take lives in hours. Though bacterial meningitis has available treatment methods, viral meningitis has no known treatment. Generally, a successful diagnosis of meningitis requires immediate hospitalization. Nevertheless, a bacterial case of meningitis can be controlled by use of intravenous antibiotics depending on the discretion of the doctor.

Johns Hopkins Hospital is one of the best treatment centers for meningitis in the country

Mayo Clinic is the second best hospital for meningitis treatment in the country.

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio comes in third.

Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California wind up at perhaps the fourth and fifth position respectively. With excellent facilities, their positions are indisputable.
