How to Make Your Husband Happy

Thursday, 31 Mar 2011 04:51 PM

Every man is different and so are the ways that will make him happy. In order to make your husband happy, it is important to know his likes and dislikes. If you are a newlywed, you still should have some idea of what makes your husband tick.

Most men will tell you that they like a clean house when they arrive home from work. In today's world, most homes are two income households so the wife works too, making having an impeccably clean house nearly impossible. No one is saying you have to do the cleaning either. If you both work long hours maybe hiring a cleaning service once a week can help you keep your home clean and you can do the light cleaning during the week.

The saying, "a way to a man's heart is through his stomach," still holds true for married men. If you don't know how to cook then you should know how to tap your resources like finding local restaurants and grocery stores that offer takeout and prepared meals.

Man-time is important when trying to make your husband happy too. Man-time is the time he has to go off on his own without you. During this time he gets to hang out with the boys if that is his thing or just sit and watch the game. Whatever your husband likes to do in his spear time should be respected as he should respect yours.

Stroke his ego to make him happy. A man likes to feel that he is king of the world to his woman. You have to make him think he is brilliant without letting on that you are padding the truth a bit. In addition, tell him often how good he makes you feel and that will give a real boost to his ego and make him happy.
