Are Justin Bieber’s fans dampening the teen heartthrob’s relationship with current love Selena Gomez? The two stars, frequently photographed engaged in serious PDA, have been advised to cool it.

The National Inquirer reports that Bieber’s team has warned the crooner that his behavior could make him less popular with young female fans. Kim Kardashian, who Bieber once jokingly called “my girlfriend,” and Gomez have received death threats from young girls over their involvement with the singer.

Constant snapshots of Bieber and his Disney starlet, like the racy photos taken of the pair on vacation in Hawaii, could lead to negative fan-feedback for both celebs. Supposedly, Justin has agreed to his team’s request and has told Gomez that they must avoid canoodling in public.

Cutting back on PDA has reportedly not affected the young couple’s relationship, as Gomez is quoted as telling Bieber, “I know how you feel about me.”
