With the release of the eighth and final Harry Potter film just weeks away, Rowling has finally released the details of the “Pottermore” website, reports MTV News.

Rowling announced that she had purchased the Pottermore domain name last week, but the project remained a heavily guarded secret, offering only the mysterious words “Coming Soon” to whet the appetite of Potter fans around the globe.

During a press conference in London earlier today, Rowling told reporters that the site will offer a free, online reading experience that will help to bring the Harry Potter storyline to life. “[It’s] a way I can be creative in a medium that didn’t exist when I started the books back in 1990,” Rowling explained.

Specifics of what the site will offer are still unclear, but fans can be assured that the world of Harry Potter will live on through the Internet.
