Ways to Make my Daughter Happy

Thursday, 02 Dec 2010 04:38 PM

Life sometimes becomes so hectic that you find it difficult to take time out from your busy schedule to make time for your daughter. So what can you do to make your daughter happy? There is no fixed answer to this question. Depending on her age, there are many ways  you can make your daughter happy, and have a great time as well.  Here are a few things you can do:

  1. Buying toys for your daughter is a great idea, especially if she is at an age where she enjoys playing with toys. Buying toys for your daughter can be fun when both of you go shopping together. You don't have to buy big, expensive toys to please your daughter; you can get toys that suit your budget. Buying her a toy will not only make your daughter happy, but also make her appreciative of your thought.
  2. Buying dresses for your daughter is another good idea. No matter what age your daughter is, she is going to love wearing pretty clothes. You can go shopping together and can help her choose colors and styles that suit her. If shopping does not appeal to you and if you enjoy sewing, you can sew some pretty dresses for her which are sure to make her happy.
  3. Instead of buying your daughter a birthday gift, you can plan a surprise trip with her. Instead of having a party at home, you can take her on a mountain trip or on a trek to a place she has not seen before. This way, you will be spending quality time with her, and you are sure to get closer to each other. You can invite some of her friends as well. This is a birthday gift your daughter will simply love and is going to remember for a long time.
  4. Planning sleepovers for your daughter is another great way to make her happy. Sleepovers, when planned well, can be a lot of fun. You can enlist the help of your daughter and plan decorations, snacks, games, and something as basic as sleeping arrangements for the sleepover. This joint effort will draw you closer to each other.
