A wild fan pulled Glee star Darren Criss off stage during a Saturday night live performance. Criss says the incident was “a seriously close call.”

The performance was part of the Glee Live tour that took Criss and fellow castmates to Washington, D.C. During their performance in D.C., a rabid fan got ahold of Criss and literally dragged him off of the stage.

“Btw I’m lucky I didn’t hit my head on the gate in front of this lady. Seriously close call tonight… Like, please don’t kill me. I’m nice… To the lady who pulled me off the stage and into the pit tonight: If I ever see you on a stage…keep your wits about ya. Love, Darren :) !”

Despite the incident, Criss walked away without a scratch and will be performing in all upcoming shows on the tour. The next stop, New York City.
