An official Florida Bar complaint has been filed against one of Casey Anthony’s defense attorneys, reports the Associated Press.
White celebrating the “Not Guilty” verdict in Orlando, defense attorney Cheney Mason gestured with his middle finger to a public crowd gathered outside the courthouse.
After an Associated Press photographer captured the gesture on film, a fellow attorney cited Mason for violating Bar rules, specifically “maintaining integrity of the profession.”
According to Bar regulatory policy, attorneys are liable for any action, even in private, that reflects poorly on the profession.
