2011 Cannes Film Festival Underway

The 64th annual Cannes Film Festival taking place in the south of France, will open this evening to a star-studded audience including the likes of Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.

The 11 day festival is likely to attract many A-list celebrities including Robert De Niro, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, and Woody Allen.
Allen’s new movie, “Midnight in Paris” will open the event. Other films that will be showing at the festival include “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Kung Fu Panda 2,” and “The Tree of Life” starring Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain.
