Busch Gardens Tampa Unveils New Attractions

Wednesday, 29 Jun 2011 02:50 PM

Just in time for summer, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has added two more attractions for visitors to enjoy. The two new rides are jungle-themed and promise riders a wild experience.

The first new attraction, called “Cheetah Hunt,” takes thrill-seekers on a wild ride meant to make the passenger feel like a cheetah chasing its prey. The coaster hits a maximum speed of 160 mph and boasts a heart-stopping 130ft drop.

Also adding to the park’s repertoire is the “Elephant Insider Tour,” a 45-minute walking-through attraction that allows visitors to get a closer look at an elephant’s true habitat. Children and parents have the opportunity to learn how elephants interact with each other in their natural surroundings, and other animals that cohabitate with elephants can be observed as well.
