 Sometimes, people choose to have dogs as pets to promote their social image. This can be true of those who politically identify themselves as Republicans, who are typically right-wing and promote conservative ideologies. Keeping the image of Republicans in mind, here are some good choices for dogs:
 
1. Samoyed
This breed of dog is rated as the most expensive and rare. They are delicate and require a lot of care. The Samoyed breed makes an excellent companion, and the dog’s elegance makes it the most sought after pet for the rich and powerful.
 
2. English Bulldog
It is gentle, adorable, and loyal to the family. This breed symbolizes tenacity and masculinity and is a favored by men in power.
 
3. French Mastiff
This is a stocky breed with a broad, heavy head, an athletic build, and a soft coat. It is an excellent family dog. If not trained properly, this breed may wreak havoc as an adult. It makes for a classy pet.
 
4. Tibetan Mastiff
It is one of the largest, oldest, and most unique breeds of dogs. It has a giant build but is affectionate. It  is known to have guarded monasteries long ago.
 
5. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
This breed, once known to grace the homes of nobles in England, is very popular is the U.S. Its short muzzle and silky coat makes it a great lap dog. It can adapt to any setting and interacts well with children. It is very active and playful.
