Curcuma longa(Haridra) -- commonly known as tumeric -- is an herb that has a strong reputation as an arthritis supplement. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory and helps relieve swelling in the joints.
Harpagophytum procumbens
(Devil’s claw), native to South Africa,  reduces pain and swelling of joints. Africans have been using this plant as an arthritis joint pain supplement since a long time.
Zingiber officinale (Ginger), a common kitchen ingredient, is considered to be an anti-inflammatory that's used both as an arthritis supplement as well as a rheumatoid joint supplement.
Allium sativum (Garlic) is an effective cholesterol reducing agent as well as a rheumatoid arthritis supplement. It is taken raw or after processing in milk.
