Vitamin B5 plays a vital role in burning carbohydrates and fats into useable energy. This essential vitamin also helps the body improve its ability to respond to stress by providing support to the adrenal glands. Vitamin B5 also ensures optimum production of healthy fats in the cells.
 
A number of vitamin B5 supplements are available, but  the best source of vitamin B5 is "natural" foods. The best natural sources for vitamin B5 are mushrooms and cauliflowers.
 
High quantities of vitamin B5 are found in various organ meats like liver and in egg yolk, nuts, vegetables and whole grains. Milk and other dairy products are also a good source of vitamin B5.
