The state of Massachusetts can boast of renowned universities and colleges that are among the best and oldest in the world. There are also a good number of newer colleges that have carved a niche for themselves as excellent educational institutions.

The five best colleges in Massachusetts are:

Harvard University. One of the oldest universities in the world, Harvard does not need any introduction. It was founded in the sixteenth century and offers excellent courses, faculty, and rigorous academic activities. Located in Boston, there are over ten thousand students currently enrolled for undergraduate studies in this university. The Harvard Law School has won several accolades world over.
