There are many scholarships available for Ohio students. Some are offered by the state and others by individual schools. Scholarships are also available for non-Ohio residents and international students.

The Maximus scholarship:
This merit scholarship awards $12,000 to a student over a four year period. Students need to rank in the top three percent to be eligible for this scholarship and have combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1420 or higher, and ACT composite scores of 32 or higher.
The Provost Scholarship: This scholarship has a total award amount of $9600 distributed over a period of four years, with an annual award value of $2400 year. Eligible students must have combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1300 or higher, or ACT composite scores of 29 or higher. The top 10 percent of students in their graduating classes alone are considered.
Trustees Scholarship: With an award amount of $1200 per year for a total period of four years, this scholarship for Ohio residents has a total award value of $4800. To be eligible, students must be in the top 20 percent of their class and have combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1260 or higher, or ACT composite scores of 28 or higher.
Ohio Academic Scholarship: A strictly merit-based scholarship, this scholarship is geared toward helping only the most outstanding students. It awards. $2205 per year for four years.
The Ohio College Opportunity Grant: This scholarship is a need-based grant for freshmen. For students in a public university or college, the grant is $2496 per year and students in a private institution get $3996 per year.
