NEW YORK -- A publicist for the singer Alexa Ray Joel says she has been hospitalized in Manhattan for an undisclosed condition.
Joel is the daughter of pop star Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley.

Her publicist, Claire Mercuri, said Saturday that Joel is in stable condition and receiving treatment.
She declined to say why Joel had been hospitalized.
