Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) may both soon announce they're running for President, but is that a good thing? Some argue the presence of two women both popular with social conservative and Tea Party types could split the vote between them.

However, Palin is said to have more star power and to be more popular with the Republican base than Bachmann. Palin's name recognition and experience on the national political stage would give her an advantage over the Minnesota Congresswoman as well.
