Now that Sarah Palin’s wrapped up the first leg of her “One Nation” bus tour, fans, foes, and the media are wondering where she’ll head to next.
Many are betting on Iowa, especially those living in the Hawkeye State. Residents there have a list of places and venues for the former Alaskan governor to visit that will steep her in Iowa and American history.
The Des Moines Register
suggests she take a walk along the Mormon Trail, as a nod to potential rival Mitt Romney’s faith. They also suggest Muscatine County; where she can see Moscow, La or, a more serious suggestion, visit the town of Postville, which has been wrestling with illegal immigration. The only hint Palin gave of what her itinerary would look like if she went to Iowa was to say she’d like to meet with Gov. Terry Branstad, whom she endorsed last year.
