Attorneys are still trying to work out the details surrounding a possible plea deal in Charlie Sheen's domestic abuse case.

Attorneys planned to meet Tuesday in Aspen to discuss the case.

The attorney for Sheen's wife, Yale Galanter, said Sheen has worked out an agreement to plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in exchange for dropping more serious charges against him.

That deal calls for Sheen to serve a 30-day sentence and to be able to leave jail during the day to work at an Aspen theater company.

Sheen had been expected to enter his plea during a Tuesday court hearing but, after some last-minute negotiations, prosecutors asked for more time. The judge set a new hearing for July 12.
