Toni Collette won the Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy for her role at a mother with split personalities in Showtime's "United States of Tara."
John Lithgow won an award Sunday for best supporting actor for his role as a serial killer in Showtime's "Dexter."
Lithgow said he "had the most wonderful time creeping out the entire country for the last six months."
Collette said she appreciated the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for shining a light on her show.
