Will the real African-American Leaders please stand up!

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do not speak for us. There is a new wave underfoot. African-American voices of compassion, intelligence and integrity are being raised across the land, and the masses are listening!

No longer will we have personalities like Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson pushed down our throats to silence the truth — that African Americans value life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness like all Americans.

We are members of the single human race that inhabits this planet. We are not separate races. We are people — from the womb to the tomb. We support life, natural marriage, responsible fiscal behavior and positive imaging.

We are not victims seeking handouts. We are not of the entitlement/victimization mindset.

Again, characters like Rev. Sharpton and Rev. Jackson, the leaders of the National NAACP, and the Congressional Black Caucus do not speak for us!

We are Americans. We respect the U. S. Constitution, and we want what is good and positive for our families.
