Question: Is a high-protein, low-carb, or low-fat diet the best way to lose weight?

Dr. Hibberd's answer:

All of the above! The best diet to choose for weight loss is one that is rich in vegetables, with low-fat protein sources such as chicken and fish, and limited carbs. Avoid starvation diets. The Mediterranean diet comes the closest to the best approach.

Do not forget that exercise is mandatory to preserve muscle bulk.
