After meeting with his economic team, President Obama says recent economic indicators provide “glimmers of hope” that the economy is making progress. He cautions, however, that “the economy is still under severe stress.” Larry Summers, Obama’s chief economic adviser, later tells MSNBC the economy still is “mixed” but looking “more positive.”
